Location: Perth's Northern Suburbs

Company Overview:
Join a dynamic Credit Team in our client's office, located in the Northern Suburbs of Perth. We are seeking an experienced Credit Officer to become an integral part of our clients credit team, responsible for managing a section of the ledger alongside the other dedicated Credit Officers.
Position Type: Permanent, Part time

Work Hours: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Reporting To: Regional Credit Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Credit Officer, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks including but not limited to:
  • Conducting Credit Phone Collections (both inbound and outbound)
  • Managing Accounts Receivables
  • Monitoring customer performance to ensure adherence to trading terms
  • Handling Credit Administration and filing tasks
  • Performing Bank Reconciliations
  • Processing Banking transactions on a daily basis
  • Ensuring reconciliation of Cash sales and COD accounts
  • Processing new credit application forms
  • Setting and monitoring credit limits in coordination with the Credit Manager
  • Upholding company credit policies and practices with both internal and external customers
  • Maintaining professional email communications with clients
  • Demonstrating proficiency in Commercial Systems and MS Excel at an intermediate level
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous experience in a similar credit role is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and other relevant software applications
  • Commercial Systems knowledge is advantageous
